JAVA is a new technology which was originally developed to use with TOASTERS and other household appliances! About the same time, the Internet became a world-wide hit and someone realized that they could use JAVA to create really cool things to show on a web page.
Thus JAVA applets were born. And now you can do all kinds of neat things on the Internet with applets, including playing Kid's Playroom! Above is the game Connect4, which is a JAVA applet.
