The VisualAge for Java User’s Discussion group has informed us that the VisualAge for JAVA beta version does not support the import of JAR files, so we won’t create JAR files. We will create classes.

Right click on the bean for which you wish to generate classes. (Notice, when classes are generated for a bean, the bean background grid is pink instead of white.)

An alert will come forward, indicating that code was generated and the location. Do this for the Dept, Section, and Course beans.

Now you can exit the EAB (or leave it open), and continue with the IDE.
